Iran junior freestyle team shined in 2012 World Junior Wrestling Championships by winning 3 gold medals.

Iranian wrestlers captured 3 gold medals from 8 categories as Iran placed third in team rankings of 2012 world junior Freestyle wrestling championships in Thailand.

Russia won 4 gold, one silver and one bronze medal to win team title by 64 points.

Mongolia was another team who won gold medals (55kg). Actually gold medals was shared between Russia (4), Iran (3) and Mongolia(1) and other countries failed to win gold medal.
